Philippians 3:12-14 We do not have any control over the length of our lives but we ourselves will determine the width and the depth of it.  1 Samuel 17:32-37 The outcome of a battle is determined on you choose to go into the battle. The victory of a match is determined in the locker room.  Your preparation will determine the result.  David chose to go into battle with the Philistines by faith and trust in God. He was sure that the same God who had helped him attack lions and snatch livestock from their lips would still deliver Goliath into his hands.  This is how we ought to trust and have a conviction of what God is capable of doing. He didn't look at Goliath but looked at God, his Master.  Look at his courage in vs 26...he's already focused on victory.  In whatever we do we need to focus the outcome or the result. When you go for war don't focus at the enemy (u will be overwhelmed by fear thus u will be defeated) but on the victory ahead of you....

When people saw a barren woman in Sarah, God saw the mother of all nations. When people saw a poor young shepherd in David, God saw a mighty king of Israel. When people saw a poor prisoner in Joseph, God saw a powerful Prime Minister of Egypt. So never mind what people see in you. You are a great person in God's eyes. I always encourage Christians to set atleast a day just for praying. There is victory in prayers. Personally I have been challenged severally after seeing people who have prayed and their lives have changed completely. This experience indeed changed my mentality that i also opted for nothing more but having time for prayer. Indeed I have also began testifying. Just set a day for fasting and praying. You don't need to be in a group for you to do this. Do it a personal level. After Setting a prayer day, incline yourself on the following keys. As you pray: (i) Believe I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! (Psalms 27:13) You need to acknowledge that God exists, listens and answers. He will surely do it in your favor. ( ii ) Be Courageous Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. Time is up. People need to hear the Word and be won to God forcefully. I am constrained to share something on T he Two Ways Although our objective​ is to follow the Way of Yahweh/God, we're also faced with the choice of another way-the way that leads to destruction. From the beginning in Gen.1-2,there was to be only One Way for mankind. The 2nd way wasn't part of God's plan for us. Satan came & introduced an alternative way to that of Yahweh. Our first parents rejected Yahweh's way and chose to follow that of the devil by listening to Satan(serpent) Gen 3:1-6. This is how we begun to be faced by the reality of Two Ways from which one MUST choose on which way to remain; it should be a personal decision.
