PRAYER DAY!

I always encourage Christians to set atleast a day just for praying. There is victory in prayers. Personally I have been challenged severally after seeing people who have prayed and their lives have changed completely. This experience indeed changed my mentality that i also opted for nothing more but having time for prayer. Indeed I have also began testifying.
Just set a day for fasting and praying. You don't need to be in a group for you to do this. Do it a personal level.

After Setting a prayer day, incline yourself on the following keys.

As you pray:

(i) Believe
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! (Psalms 27:13)

You need to acknowledge that God exists, listens and answers. He will surely do it in your favor.

(ii) Be Courageous
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. (Deut 31:6)

It only costed Zacchaeus courage to climb over a tree and to call upon the Messiah. Christ indeed took heed of his call.

(iii) Have Faith
Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, "Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well." And instantly the woman was made well. (Matt 9:22)

Only a step of faith led to the healing of the bleeding woman. She had undergone this for 12 years but her healing was only in seconds.

(iv) Be Patient
Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! (Psalms 27:14)

In history all that have waited on God have received favours. Mary was patient, she was uplifted. Hannah besides receiving insults she prayed and waited, her pain was relieved.

(v) Boycott Pride
The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, in your lofty dwelling, who say in your heart, "Who will bring me down to the ground?" (Obadiah 1:3)

The centurion man was a man in the authority. If he had amplified pride in his title he wouldn't have approached Christ. It only costed him humility.
